I have visited St Benet's Church Sunderland twice in the last two weeks and I am very sad to hear that this great Redemptorist Monastery is up for sale-This site is very near to where St Bede The Venerable entered St Peter's Monastery Monkwearmouth at the age of seven, which was founded by St Benet Biscop-Is this another disaster and legacy of Vatican 11-Please God a Traditional order may be able to buy it! This would be a great site and outreach for the SSPX in the North of England so as to continue the legacy of St. Bede. (Details can be found :here)
